Stricter emissions standards across Asia present a huge challenge for vehicle and engine manufacturers as they seek to develop cost-effective emissions reduction strategies to comply with the tougher regulations. Worsening air pollution in China is driving government plans to implement next stage fuel efficiency and CO2 legislation and to roll-out higher fuel quality standards.
